To mark the inaugural Giornata nazionale in memoria delle vittime dell’Arandora Star, a new docufilm, Arandora Star – 2 luglio 1940, directed by Danilo Caracciolo, will be released in Italy on the same day.
For decades the tragedy of the Arandora Star has remained relatively little known outside of British-Italian communities. Now an Italian National Day of Remembrance intends to change that.
