In conjunction with the Road Safety Unit, Treforest, the A.V.C. are offering a FREE drivers course on TUESDAY 8th JANUARY 2013. This course will be suitable for new or mature drivers of all ages and experience. www.roadsafetygb.org.uk
The programme is as follows –
09:00-09:25 — Registration
09:15-10:15 — Eco Driving , Winter Driving , etc. presented by John Enticott
10:15-10:45 — Basic Vehicle Maintenance presented by John Enticott
10:45-11:00 — Refreshments
11:00-13:15 — 4 stations of 30 minutes duration with 5 minute interval to get to each station. i.e.
1) A practical on-road drive with an approved driving instructor.
2) Use of a driving simulator / computerised highway code session
3) First Aid
4) Road Safety Advice from South Wales Police.
13:15-13:30 — Any quesions and finish.
OPTIONAL EXTRA: after the course will be lunch at a local carvery or similar. The lunch will not be free.
