Author of Dead Reckoning, Lawrence Battersby, is hosting a free talk and book signing this month. Supported by the Italian Vice Consulate of Wales, Cardiff, this deeply engaging talk sheds light on a lesser-known chapter of World War II history: the internment and deportation of Italo-Welsh residents.
Lawrence will be making his sixth appearance on his current tour. A tour that is dedicated to exploring the impact of the UK’s WWII internment policy on various communities, and each presentation is uniquely tailored to reflect the local history and experiences.
After the talk, there will be an opportunity to purchase copies of Dead Reckoning and have them signed by the author.
